A legend in Taiwan’s mountains says that when lost, hikers encounter a figure in a yellow raincoat who points to a blurry path, leading them to disappear. A local temple has been performing rituals for generations to appease these mysterious beings, and the rituals cannot be interrupted. Five years ago, CHEN Jia-ming, SONG Yu-xin, and ZHANG An-wei went hiking, accidentally interrupting the ritual, and ZHANG An-wei disappeared. Five years later, they returned to search for him, only to be lured by a yellow-clad group. ZHANG An-wei’s ghost appeared, seeking revenge. CHEN Jia-ming slowly unraveled that their past mistake angered the Mountain Demon. To atone, he sacrificed himself, becoming another missing person.
